“She loved the sea. She liked the sharp salty smell of the air, and the vastness of the horizons bounded only by a vault of azure sky above. It made her feel small, but free as well.” (George R.R. Martin, A Storm of Swords)
This photo was clicked in one of the beaches of Kovalam during my visit to Kerela last April. The sea never fails to cast its spell on me – each and everytime I sit on the shore and take in its beauty. The noisy waves forming a rhythm slowly, the infinity of the horizon, the water splashing on my feet as I lay on the beach – everything about the sea brings me & my soul peace and a sense of calmness. Life is happy & beautiful by the sea! 🙂
Here are the previous episodes of Photo Friday – Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, Week 4, Week 5 & Week 6. I hope you guys are enjoying them as much as me! 🙂

The sea breeze and sand offers the best foot massage and no need to spend at the spa lounge:)

Now that snow is hopefully behind us, I could definitely go for some beach time.
I wish I lived nearer to the sea 🙂
Maybe someday you will.
Amen…. 🙂
