Hello there!

377710_436104996425797_1472361156_n@Neil Island, Andamans, India.

I am born & brought up in Assam, tucked in the beautiful & exotic region of North East India.

As a child, I dreamt to be a doctor, but life had other plans & I ended up as a development banker.

Nobody ever figures out what life is all about, and it does not matter. Explore the world. Nearly everything is really interesting if you go into it deeply enough.

~ Richard P. Feynman

I love…..

the world around mebooks (they are never boring),  to travel (wherever & whenever I can), eating, movies, dreaming & wishing for things to be, animation movies, happy endings in book, films & life, the rain, cherishing memories, colours, silly things, making lists (for almost everything :P), to walk barefoot over green grass, shopping, …………………………

 I believe in……

karma, destiny, moments, prayers, falling & rising in love, my inner voice, apology, saying Yes!, accommodating & acknowledgement…………………………..

I really haven’t sorted out what I want from life; I seem to take bits of everyone I come across in my life…… Life is about the people u meet…

This blog is an archive of my ramblings & musings, of things i love or hate or reminisce, under the broad category called LIFE.

“There is no cure except to live the hell out of our lives, to take it apart, to put it back together, to dig it all up, and then fill the hole.

To help ourselves and one another to the best of our abilities.

To believe everything entirely, while also calling bullshit for what it is.”

~Cheryl Strayed as Dear Sugar on The Rumpus.

Thoughts behind the blog name here .

Point to be noted: I was never an expert on English. So if you come across any grammatical mistake in my posts, kindly bear with me….my apologies!

  9. Hi Madhusmita,
I’ve just had two of my short stories published in an anthology and wondered if you would review the book on your blog?
It’s called ‘The Milk of Female Kindness’ and includes short fiction, poetry, art, memoir and medical writing on the theme of honest motherhood. Some of the writers have recently given birth, others are grandmothers. Some, like me, are childless; my writing is inspired by memories of my own mother. Some of the pieces will make you smile, others are heartbreaking.

I’d be very happy to send you an e-book or hard copy, or some sample stories.
    Best wishes and thanks,
    Sandra @ http://www.sandradanby.com/

    1. Oh, that’s lovely SD, I am happy for you 🙂
And as for the review, I am still a paperback/hardcover reader so if you can send me the book I can check it out 🙂

Would love to hear your thoughts.........
