…self-love. I believe it is the purest form of love. Only when we can love ourselves, can we pass on the love to others. And i believe its not selfish to love yourself, to take care of yourself and make your own happiness a priority, because it is necessary. Also, if one does not feel good about oneself, it is hard to feel good about anything else.
A few months back, I discovered adult colouring books and ordered one for myself. My copy was that of a series of Mandala. I am very amateur in the field of art and the pics below are an outcome of my amateurish efforts with sketch pens. I may not have done an outstanding work here, but I definitely loved the 2 hours of fun with sketch pens (after so many years) and coming up with these colour combinations. Blissful it was for sure! 🙂 ❤
It was my birthday yesterday and my bestie surprised me by coming all the way from her town to mine and with this awesome cake baked by my favourite baker (VANILLA BLOOM). The details on the cake were so perfect….I am a happy bday girl…..yay!!! 🙂 🙂 (more…)
It’s that time of the year again – a chill in the evening air, time to bring out the full sleeved clothes and sun the warm clothes for the days to come, look forward to chats over cups of tea and pakodas or some momos with some steaming soup (I will miss Maggi) and above all the fairs, expos & festivals that mark the season. I love Social Media. It has enriched my life in many ways. Keeping in touch with friends in all corners of the world has never been this easy and this instantaneous. Sharing and propagating an idea or thought has never been this convenient.
But, of late, I’ve been struck by the realization that all this ease and convenience has made us lazy. We are gradually becoming a generation of clickers. When I use the word ‘We’, I’m including myself since I know that I too am guilty of aiding the creation of noise on the internet.
