For the first time, the regional SARAS FAIR is being currently organized in Assam. And last Sunday I decided to pay a visit to the venue at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakhetra (Gate No.2). As per information available in the public domain 154 stalls of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) & private farms from 25 different states of the country are taking part in the fair with their ethnic products like food, clothes, ornaments, handicrafts, etc. (more…)
Clare, a beautiful art student, and Henry, an adventuresome librarian, have known each other since Clare was 6 and Henry was 36, married when Clare 23 and Henry 31. Impossible but true. Because Henry unintentionally jumps in time, pulled to moments of emotional gravity, past and future. His experiences can be harrowing or amusing.
This is one book which had been in my TBR for quite a long time. I was gifted a paperback way back in 2014 but somehow it got pushed behind every time. But then as I always say, better late than never. 🙂 (more…)
