Photo Friday (27) – Friendship & Love

best friends

“You are my best friend as well as my lover, and I do not know which side of you I enjoy the most…

I treasure each side, just as I have treasured our life together.”

― Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook

P.S. I added that bouquet between the two! 😛

And, I wish everyone a HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY….may everyone’s life be full of love & happiness! 🙂

The Time Traveler’s Wife – my thoughts

Time Traveller's wife

Author – Audrey Niffenegger

Blurb from Goodreads

Clare, a beautiful art student, and Henry, an adventuresome librarian, have known each other since Clare was 6 and Henry was 36, married when Clare 23 and Henry 31. Impossible but true. Photo Friday (24) – Season’s Greetings!

WP_20151231_003 A few of this year’s cards 🙂

Call me old school, but I still am a greeting-card person. A handwritten letter or a greeting card from my dear ones never fail to cheer me up, even on the darkest days. For me its also a piece of memory – which you can touch and feel and revisit the emotions attached with it, unlike the e-cards. (more…)

The glory of gardening – hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed – not just the body, but the soul! ~ Alfred Austin

As I have already shared in my previous posts over the years – Part I, Part II & Part III and one more post, I have slowly and steadily treaded into the world of gardening with my potted plants in the balcony. At present, I have a balcony full of pots with varied plants including a veggie patch too. 🙂 (more…)
