Way back in 2014, Ashima from Lime N’ Lemony inspired me to re-use old wedding cards by converting them into some useful things. I did a post about it here.Very recently I went one step ahead from the last time, while taking a break at my workplace. I made do with whatever coloured/marker pens I could manage with and came up with these: (more…)

Being Random…again
Being busy lazy I have not been able to come up with a proper post for quite a long time now. Things aren’t getting any better; so I decided to go ahead with a random post where I blurt anything and everything. Here it goes – (more…)
Green thumb
In several of my posts earlier, I have shared about my tiny steps into the world of gardening. And if I have to name one person who motivates me to do so, it’s my Deuta (that’s what we call our father in Assamese). He loves (more…)
Rooted in Joy (Part IV)
The glory of gardening – hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed – not just the body, but the soul! ~ Alfred Austin
As I have already shared in my previous posts over the years – Part I, Part II & Part III and one more post, I have slowly and steadily treaded into the world of gardening with my potted plants in the balcony. At present, I have a balcony full of pots with varied plants including a veggie patch too. 🙂 (more…)
Photo Friday (23) – Merry Christmas!
May all the sweet magic of Christmas touch each one of our lives making it brighter, happier & healthier…..wish one and all a very Merry Christmas! Spread the cheer! 🙂
By the way, that is my mini-Christmas tree, which I put up yesterday near my DIY light. That lighted up corner is making me happy and the spirit of Christmas has already filled me with hope & joy. I wish the same for all my readers. 🙂 And special thanks to The Glass Bangle & Points to Ponder for your letters & gifts…..you made my day and I really feel blessed to have you in my life! 🙂
A DIY
I haven’t posted in my blog since quite a long time. Life has been quite busy and with this blogging and reading has taken a backseat. Still I am trying to manage time for the things I love by regularly checking out my favourite blogs and reading at least a few pages of my book every day. (more…)
Rooted in Joy (Part II)
Way back in December, 2012, I had shared in Part I (link here) that I have taken up gardening as a hobby, in my own little way. Living in an apartment, I do not have the luxury of a proper veggie patch/ flower bed. But I do have the liberty to grow some plants in pots. Over the last 2 years, I have added a pot or two and now have quite a few pots in my balcony. 🙂 And to my utter delight, I am quite proud of myself for the very fact that I have managed to keep them alive. The fact that all of these plants are very low maintenance plants is also a contributing factor, without any doubt. 😉 (more…)
A DIY I tried…
DIY stuffs always fascinate me. I am always mesmerized by the creative things people come up with the usual materials. Every time I see an interesting DIY I save it for future reference – for that day in future when I would actually try my hands on it. But then I never seem to have the time for them.
