Of dreams & stardust……

100-words-promptSource

She stored them lovingly

One by one;

Each of them,

A piece of herself;

To be pursued

With all courage and hardwork,

Converting her ‘can’t’s to ‘can’,

And dreams to plans;

For she firmly believed –

The future belongs to those who believed in beauty of their dreams”;*

At times she failed,

But she picked up the broken pieces,

Taking them in her stride

And kept on going,

With words in her mind-

This isn’t how my story will end;

And every time one fulfilled

It brightened up her life,

Like a million pieces of stardust

Falling all around her!

  1. What a lovely post 🙂 I love the way you’ve used the prompt to talk about dreams with such beautiful imagery! Especially loved the sense of hope that prevails above all else.

Would love to hear your thoughts.........
