She stored them lovingly
One by one;
Each of them,
A piece of herself;
To be pursued
With all courage and hardwork,
Converting her ‘can’t’s to ‘can’,
And dreams to plans;
For she firmly believed –
“The future belongs to those who believed in beauty of their dreams”;*
At times she failed,
But she picked up the broken pieces,
Taking them in her stride
And kept on going,
With words in her mind-
This isn’t how my story will end;
And every time one fulfilled
It brightened up her life,
Like a million pieces of stardust
Falling all around her!
I am participating in 100 words on Saturday, hosted by Write Tribe every week, after a really long time. Somehow the picture this week spoke to me and my fingers started tapping on the keyboard almost immediately. 🙂
Do leave your link in the comments section if you participated too and if you want to take part in this week’s prompt, here is the link of the page with the instructions –
http://writetribe.com/fab-links-from-write-tribe/.
The linky is open till Friday, which means if you are interested, you still have a lot of time! 🙂
