WWW Wednesday Vol.15

www_wednesdays43Hello book lovers! 🙂

It’s Wednesday and time for WWW, the weekly book meme hosted by MizB of Should be Reading. To play along, we just have to answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

And here are my answers this week:

I am currently reading GONE GIRL by Gillian Flynn (Goodreads 2012 winner, in case you didn’t know 😛 ). I know, I know, I am veryyyyy late & everyone else have finished reading this book a long time ago! But then, better late than never, right! I am halfway through the book & I am loving it!the blurb is here-

On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunne’s fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick’s clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn’t doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams about the slope and shape of his wife’s head, but passages from Amy’s diary reveal the alpha-girl perfectionist could have put anyone dangerously on edge. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media–as well as Amy’s fiercely doting parents–the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he’s definitely bitter–but is he really a killer?
As the cops close in, every couple in town is soon wondering how well they know the one that they love. With his twin sister, Margo, at his side, Nick stands by his innocence. Trouble is, if Nick didn’t do it, where is that beautiful wife? And what was in that silvery gift box hidden in the back of her bedroom closet?

gone girlI recently finished reading  UNBOWED by Lestine. I had won it in a Goodreads Firstreads Giveaway. I loved the book – it was informative & very inspiring too. The journey of Basma, the protagonist, was what I loved the most. My review of the book will be up very soon.

Regarding the book I will read next, I have two of them lined up for review-on-request. And they are –

i. No Man’s Land by Nilesh Shrivastava

no mans land

ii. Supertraits of Superstars by Priyanka Sinha Jha
